Hello, Chattanooga coffee community! We wanted to introduce ourselves to the baristas and coffee lovers that have made Chattanooga’s coffee scene so amazing. Barista or not, join us on Thursday, July 9th at 6pm for our first Latte Art Throwdown!

What’s a throwdown? It’s a knock-down-drag-out, no-holds-barred fight to be named the best barista in town. (Maybe it’s not that intense, but you get the idea.)

Baristas are invited to compete in a 1v1 single-elimination tournament to create the best latte art, refereed by a talented and highly experienced panel of expert judges. (Okay, you got us, they’re just our friends.) The winning barista and the first and second runners-up will get cash prizes plus some cool gifts from the shop and our sponsors.

Our sweet setup, shoutout Coffee Machine Service Company!

Anyone is invited to attend, hang out, enter raffles, and drink tons of lattes. Don’t worry, we have decaf…

It’s completely free to attend and enter raffles, and competition lattes will be distributed free of charge.

Baristas will need to buy a $5 ticket to compete, which helps us offset the coffee and milk costs. We kindly ask that only baristas with at least a few months of experience compete.

A huge shoutout to our sponsors, who have kindly provided prizes and other support! Sleepyhead Coffee • Goodman Coffee Roasters • Culture Coffee Co. • Velo Coffee Roasters • Niedlov’s Bakery & Cafe • Xozio Coffee & Provisions • Brothers Bagel • Prelude Coffee Events • New Wave Coffee
