I’ve been noticing some really cool titles are being overlooked in the shop. That’s probably because our shelves can get a little overcrowded, and we don’t really have our classification system down yet.

To highlight some of the awesome titles we carry, we’re having a huge end of summer sale! Literally hundreds of awesome books will be marked down, up to 25% off. We’ll also have some merchandise like art supplies on sale. Here’s how it’ll work.

Members-only pre-sale: Thursday, August 6. Members can shop the sale early and add an additional percentage to their usual 10% member discount. Gold + Founding: Add 15%. Standard: Add 10%. Solo: Add 5%.

Don’t have a membership? Stop in to get one! You can even buy one Thursday and get in on the presale. Starting at $35/year, they’re a great deal.

Friday, August 7: 15% off everything on sale. You’ll want to check out the sale early — there’s a lot of good stuff, but only 1 copy of most books!

Saturday, August 8: 20% off everything on sale. We’re also hosting our first “Second Saturdays” open mic at 6pm — a great day to pick up some discounted books and enjoy a day at the bookshop!

Sunday, August 9: 25% off everything on sale. We really don’t want to have to move all these books back to the shelf. Stop by for the best day of the sale. Maybe even get some early holiday shopping checked off…

What’s on sale? Like everything in the shop, it’ll be curated, so you can expect some great finds. The main thing on sale will be “great books that we can’t believe we still have in stock.”

Where’s the sale? All sale items will be gathered in our brand new conference room. We’ll open it up for real in the next few weeks — this will be a great chance to get a sneak peek.
