Congratulations on bringing a book into this world! We’re so honored you want to work with us. Before contacting us, please note the following:

1. We only consider stocking self-published books from authors that live in or very close to Chattanooga, but you don’t need to contact us here. Stop by the store (after we open) to pick up a form. Don’t bring any books until we request them, if we determine we can stock your book.
2. If your book is traditionally published and available through Ingram or Asterism, you’re welcome to get in touch to request that we stock it, but please know we carefully curate our selection and have limited shelf space. Most books won’t make the cut.
3. If you’re launching a book or want to host an event based on your book or other work, please get in touch!

Artists

Want to sell you art in Pennington’s? Reach out! Note that our standard arrangement involves keeping the art displayed for 1-6 months on consignment terms. However, we strongly encourage you to also sell prints in our store while your art is on display. (Don’t have prints? We can help!)

Can I order books online? We’re focusing on brick-and-mortar sales right now, but if you want to shop online, check out Bookshop.org. Soon, you’ll be able to support us by buying through Bookshop! We’ll keep you posted.

How do I sell my books? Stay tuned. We’ll be ready to buy used books shortly after we open. (Keep an eye out for special used book buying days before we open!)

What are your hours? TBD. Please let us know via Instagram message or here when you’d like for us to be open and we’ll do our best.
